Event Marketing Manager

INVISIO is a global, fast-growing company seeking a new Event Marketing Manager to showcase how we enable and protect defense and public safety professionals in noisy and mission critical environments.

The Event Marketing Manager will be part of the INVISIO Marketing team, and report to the Director of Global Marketing.

The job

You will facilitate and conceptualize kit and concepts for trade fairs and conferences, liaise with relevant stakeholders and oversee the trade fair operations. In addition, you will provide marketing support to our sales offices and external sales channels.

To ensure success in this role, you possess excellent project management skills, a positive hands-on and can-do attitude.

Event Marketing responsibilities (80%)

General event project management​

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Management on strategy, goals, and requirements.
  • Develop booth concepts and kits that solidify INVISIO’s market leading position and present our solutions in the best possible way.
  • Provide event communication internally and for channel partners.
  • Research events, manage budgets and negotiate contracts.

Specific event project management

  • Manage exhibitor registrations, booth layouts and graphics, and liase with vendors and internal stakeholders on planning and execution.
  • Coordinate logistics for major trade fairs – shipping, ordering, accommodation, manning plans, transportation, etc.
  • Coordinate event promotion such as social media posts, advertising and PR.
  • Manage the floor of major trade fairs to ensure all aspects operate smoothly.
  • Motivate and encourage employees to act as brand ambassadors on SoMe during their event participation.
  • Evaluate and follow-up on major trade fairs according to budget and agreed targets.

Channel Marketing responsibilities (20%)

  • Keep channel partners up to date with new products and offerings.
  • Support channel marketing activities including trade fairs, advertising, campaigns, specific sales and program management efforts as well as PR-activities.
  • Help local sales offices with localized marketing content and collateral.

What you bring

  • 3+ years trade show and events experience ideally from a global BtB marketing function.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • A can-do, creative, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Great communication skills in English both oral and written.
  • Willingness to travel 3-5 times a year for major trade fairs, sometimes over weekends.
  • A healthy sense of humour.

The following will enhance your candidacy

  • Experience within organizing webinars
  • Experience in SoMe, email marketing and content marketing
  • Capable of doing light graphics work utilizing the Adobe package and MS Office
