Technical Documentation Assistant

In this job, you will become part of a team that ensures we have the required technical documentation in place to meet the increasing demands and requirements in the market.

This position focuses on the administration and coordination of technical documentation and therefore requires a high sense of structure and the ability to practice repeatability in the generated documentation.

You will collaborate with several other disciplines within the INVISIO organization, such as R&D, Manufacturing, Product Management, Product Marketing, Supply Chain, and Sales, so interacting with different personalities will be crucial and challenging.

Knowledge of product design, electro-mechanical assembly, and materials is an advantage.

Key responsibilities will be:

As a Technical Documentation Assistant, you will be responsible for creating Bill of Materials, and technical drawings per INVISIO's standards as well as change management, both for new and existing products. Your primary role will be to support production engineering with BOM and guidance in required data packages needed to support industrialization at external suppliers and change management. Part of the job will also be to support R&D with 2D/3D drawings using CREO.

We hope to meet an open-minded person with a passion for structure and strive to achieve the task in due time to high standards. You have experience with technical documentation and documentation management, experience in reviewing product- and production documentation, and strong planning and organization skills. Knowledge of general documentation standards, as well as expertise in tolerance calculations, is an advantage but not a requirement.

Your seniority is less important as long as you are eager to learn and develop your level of expertise and have the ability to influence and build relationships with team members positively. You like working in cross-functional teams and have a practical focus on getting things done. You are independent and self-driven, and you take on the planning and coordination of your projects, running them from start to finish. You are enthusiastic with a high degree of personal initiative and like to work with others in a dynamic and international environment.

Additional information

This is a full-time position. You will be based in Hvidovre, just outside Copenhagen, and the corporate language is English. Additionally, the role might include a few days of traveling per year to support our sister company Racal Acoustics and external production partners.
