Meet Henrik Nilsson: The new force behind INVISIO’s cables

Posted: February 28, 2025 10:00 AM

At INVISIO, we’re always excited to welcome new team members, especially when they bring an impressive background in both engineering and economics and have a passion for customer-centric innovation. That’s Henrik Nilsson, who joined INVISIO a few months ago as a Product Manager for our cables portfolio.

Henrik Nilsson has a background as an Electrical Engineer in Radio Communication and a natural curiosity about how things are built. Henrik’s passion for knowledge was easy to detect when asked about his journey to join INVISIO:

"Like many engineers, I have always liked to build something, to master the creation of building useful things," he says and continues: “The more I learn, the more complex things become, and the more I want to understand them”. Henrik’s ability to translate complicated technical insights to the customer and vice versa in his previous positions at Ericsson and Fingerprints allowed him to gradually move from being a software engineer to a Product Manager and become the voice of the customer internally.

“I have always thought the customer was the silver bullet. How can I help the customer, what can we offer to them”, he shares. That mindset has helped him excel in understanding and solving technical challenges from the customer's perspective.

Why INVISIO?
What drew Henrik to INVISIO was the complexity and value of the products, and following his interest in tackling complicated projects to understand them further, he was ready to dive into the expanding portfolio of INVISIO cables. A product that perhaps doesn’t look like much, but is key to the versatility of the entire INVISIO system, as it features a programmable chip that enables all INVISIO equipment to be interchangeable and to integrate to other comms devices.

“The products look very simple but they are so complex underneath. The significant contribution of the products and the high standards of reliability in this field,” he explains, “that is something that I am learning and getting used to, but that is the fun part, understanding these challenges and learning from them”

Henrik was furthermore particularly excited about joining INVISIO because of the company's culture. “During my first interview here, I could immediately sense the positive atmosphere,” he recalls. This open, collaborative environment is something Henrik really values. “You feel happier going to work when there is a team feeling,” he adds.

We’re excited to see how Henrik’s customer-first mindset, his passion for knowledge, and his technical expertise will shape the future of cables at INVISIO.
