The Soldier of the Future
As part of the Canadian Army's vision for Soldier Systems which comprises The Soldier of the Future, the Army was looking for a system for soldiers to stay better connected with their teams during operations.
The equipment should be light and easy to use even under tough field conditions.
Improving situational awareness
The Canadian Army chose the INVISIO X5 in-ear headset and the INVISIO V60 tri com control unit.
The INVISIO system provides significantly improved command and control, target acquisition and situational awareness for the soldier. It allows seamless sharing of voice and data with intermediary command centers across the engagement landscape.
