RA315 Integrated Helmet System delivers reliable clear voice communication in Main Battle Tanks (MBT), Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFV) and other tracked, high noise vehicles.
The headset is suspended in a ventilated soft liner that provides bump protection when a vehicle is moving over rough terrain. Optional hard helmet shells, in bump or ballistic grades, can be attached.
Passive and Active Noise Reduction (ANR) to protect users' hearing from continuous high noise levels, providing excellent noise attenuation.
Hear-through to hear local sounds safely (<85dBA), maintaining situational awareness and allowing face-to-face conversations while preserving hearing protection.
High intelligibility binaural communications in high noise and binaural hear-through for accurate situational awareness.
Removable bump or ballistic helmets in various colors, stowable in closed-down mode.

The mass and volume of the RA315 headset provides Passive Noise Reduction (PNR), effective at higher frequencies, while dedicated independent Active Noise Reduction (ANR) modules in each earshell deliver improved noise reduction at lower frequencies.
ANR cancels unwanted signals by superimposing an identical signal in antiphase. Low-frequency noise within the earshell is detected, phase inverted and driven back via the earphone for effective cancellation.
The RA315 is a flexible three-part system comprising the headset, an optional soft liner and an optional outer shell. In some configurations the outer shell is an add-on item and, depending on the soft liner specified, there may be an optional spring-fitted neckband.
Contoured earshells, foam ear cushions, and soft liners for comfortable fit, bump protection and ventilation, with optional neckband and spring to optimise fit.
Removable outer protective bump helmet or ballistic helmet options available in a choice of colours, that may be removed and stowed when the vehicle is operated in closed-down mode.
The headset downlead is factory configured and terminated into the required connector with pinout and audio levels to match the attached equipment, enabling the headset to support mono or stereo communications. There are several optional PTT switch configurations available, toggle-switch integral to earcup, or in-line with the downlead cable. The boom microphone can be permanent live, or switched via the PTT.
Optional electronic hear-through features an on/off control switch mounted on the earcup. Mechanical hear-through valves are also available, which operate without power. The headset ANR and optional hear-through is powered from the attached equipment (18V to 28V DC supply required).
The adjustable soft liner is available in two sizes (Small/Medium and Medium/Large) with replaceable chin straps. Earcup and optional helmets have color options including green and light stone/sand.
The RA315 headset's Active Noise Reduction (ANR) and hear-through features are powered by the attached equipment, requiring an 18V to 28V DC supply.
The RA315 headset provides high levels of noise attenuation through both Passive Noise Reduction (PNR) and Active Noise Reduction (ANR), effectively reducing noise in high-noise environments.
The RA315 offers multiple wearing styles including: A soft liner with adjustable chin straps for comfort and protection, an optional neckband for additional support and an optional removable outer shell that can be either a bump or ballistic helmet.
We offer a wide range of headset variants compatible with all popular vehicle intercom systems, supporting live or switched microphone, push-to-talk (PTT) options and Active Noise Reduction (ANR).
