Care and maintenance for your INVISIO solution can significantly impact the product life span. Therefore, we recommend our users follow a few simple guidelines on protecting, storing, and cleaning their INVISIO equipment to provide the best care possible. The following guidelines apply to your INVISIO headsets, control units, cables, etc.
To avoid damaging the equipment, store in a protected area without excess weight
Store the INVISIO equipment in a dry and ventilated to avoid moisture. PTTs should have cups removed. Headsets should not be stored at temperatures above +55°C
If the equipment becomes dirty or exposed to salt water, rinse in fresh water
Ensure that headset ear cushions are not compressed. Long term compression can deform the cushions causing loss of sound attenuation.
Never use soap or detergent to clean headset cushions as this will degrade the foam and may cause irritation to the ear
Replace headset cushions if they are exposed to chemicals. E.g.: Alcohol, sunscreen lotion, solvent, repellent, hand sanitizer or fuel
